Our Story

Two decades of precision work on the cars we actually love

How We Got Here

2003

The Beginning

Early days

Started in a small two-bay garage off Main Street. Just me, my buddy Carlos, and a dream to work on the kinds of cars we'd been drooling over since we were kids. Back then, it was mostly oil changes and brake jobs - whatever paid the bills, honestly.

But word got around that we actually knew our way around a BMW without making things worse. That's harder to find than you'd think in this city.

2008

Going All-In

Expansion

Made the call to focus exclusively on European and luxury vehicles. Risky? Yeah, definitely. But trying to be everything to everyone just meant we weren't great at anything specific.

Invested in proper diagnostic equipment - the kind that can actually talk to these complicated German and Italian computers. That Bosch system cost more than my first car, but it changed everything.

2014

Moving to Granville

New location

Finally had the chance to move into our current spot on Granville. Six full bays, a proper lift system, and enough room to actually walk around the cars we're working on. Little things matter when you're under a Porsche all day.

Brought on three more techs - all guys who've worked at dealerships but got tired of the corporate pressure to upsell stuff people don't need.

2019

Performance Division

Performance work

Added performance tuning to the mix after too many customers kept asking if we could help squeeze more out of their rides. Turns out there's a whole community of folks who want their M3 to feel like it should've from the factory.

Got certified with a few ECU tuning partners and built out a dyno room. Watching a car make proper power never gets old, I'm not gonna lie.

2025

Today

Current team

We've got a solid crew of eight technicians now, each with their own specialty. Marco handles all the Italian stuff, Jamie's our transmission wizard, and Chen can diagnose electrical gremlins faster than anyone I've ever seen.

Still feels weird calling this place successful, but we've worked on over 3,000 vehicles and somehow managed to build something that doesn't make us dread Monday mornings. That's gotta count for something.

Credentials & Recognition

Not to brag, but we've picked up a few things along the way. These certifications mean we're not just winging it - we've actually put in the hours to know what we're doing.

ASE Master Certified

All our lead technicians hold ASE Master certifications. It's basically the industry standard for proving you actually know your stuff under the hood.

BMW Certified

Factory-level training on BMW systems and diagnostics. We've got the same tools and knowledge as the dealership, minus the ridiculous hourly rate.

Bosch Authorized

Official Bosch service center with access to their full diagnostic suite. When you're dealing with European electronics, this matters more than you'd think.

Performance Tuning

Certified with COBB, APR, and Dinan for ECU tuning and performance upgrades. We can make your car faster without blowing it up - promise.

Mercedes-Benz Trained

Completed Mercedes-Benz advanced diagnostics training. Those STAR diagnostic systems don't run themselves, and we know how to read what they're telling us.

Best of Vancouver 2023

Voted Best European Auto Repair Shop by Vancouver Magazine readers. Still not sure how that happened, but we'll take it.

Audi Specialist

VAG-COM certified for Volkswagen Auto Group vehicles. Whether it's an A4 or an R8, we've got the right diagnostic approach.

BBB Accredited

A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau since 2011. We fix our mistakes when they happen, and apparently people notice that kind of thing.

What Actually Matters to Us

Look, certifications are great and all, but here's what really drives us: we treat your car like it's ours. Because honestly? We wish it was.

No upselling stuff you don't need. No keeping you in the dark with technical jargon. Just straight talk about what's wrong, what it'll cost, and how long it'll take.

We're car people working on cars for other car people. That's the whole deal.
